First day positions are quite typically the positions the releases will hold for the week. From time to time, however, things don't really pan out that way (HEAVEN's release comes to mind). They also made announcements like this for both BLUE BIRD and Secret on the first day, if memory serves correctly. This is something they can do because, well, from what I remember BLUE BIRD more than doubled the sales of it's number 2 competitor, and Secret, as well, obiliterated the competition for the week.

All in all, the announcement is pretty much a no duh report. Of course the albums will be number 1 and 2, it's just nice to have early confirmation.

Well, I believe all her albums surpassed 1 million in shipment. A Best 2, will probably (together) get a little under A Best I'm betting. Probably a million+ each. If anything, might be more or less.

I'm a little bit worried about her sells.. I mean, I know that it's an Best album-
but if you look at her recent album sells-*coughsecretcough*-, it hasn't been going too well..
I really hope she'll hit the million mark!

^Of course she will..., and I'm not so surprised that her Black version got the top spot, it has all of the better songs on it, and I have to say that from each version are Dearest & Evolution of course, and what makes me mad is that I LOVE Hanabi to death but it was on A BALLADS so I think Daybreak deserves it's spot, and Hanabi should've have just been left alone, anyways I love it and all the tracks are amazing now that they're remastered

I'm quite sure it will hit a million (at least definately for both albums combined anyway)
because think about it....
if she sells 300 000 each for the 1st week (which is like the sales of SECRET) then she will get 600 000 which will get her very close to 1 million from looking at past sales. And with this being a BEST album, it will sell more.
