Time Away From Releasing Singles
I was always one of those people who said they would beglad to have Ayumi take a break from releasing singles, and have a nice break. But now that there is no new ayu stuff for a long time, It's really bugging me. This site has become a bit dull without some good news about new music or whatever. It seems all I hear about anymore is Eason Vs Ayu and other random unimportant garbage. (no offense to those posting that news)

I guess i'm a selfish fan, I WANT MORE AYU MUSIC! lol. I really really miss her and have resorted to listening to Koda Kumi (to whom i'm now addicted to everything Black Cherry+) and while that is nto always a bad thing, I wish Ayumi to stay my Queen! And to do that she's gotta step up her game! I love Ayumi with all my heart, and just don't want to see her career gracefully fade off while other people dominate her airwaves.

She's still going to stay as queen... like Namie Amuro, Namie is always going to be considered a queen.

LOL I always was the type of fan who always wanted ayu to release singles as fast as she can. I don't care if people think this will drop the quality, I just weant her to release and release!

Well, ayu recording a new song for most likely a new single and not for her and the co workers fun so you'll no longer have to wait! We'll get some news soon enough. I think it's good that she had her longest break between BLUE BIRD and the next single which will be released in 2 or 3 months.
She is touring like hell, she just released 2 compilation albums 2 months and a half ago, she has a-nation' 07 after the tour, and she is now recording a new single, so you can't really blame her.

I don't mind the break. Even though I didn't like part of Me, it served as something for a single for me. Even though it wasn't a single. But oh, well. Of course... I wouldn't mind some random July or August single. And the pv had like... people blowing up in the background or something.

But no more dreaming.

I do miss her releasing singles and I know she's been very busy ever since the release of blue bird....1 studio album, cdl, 2 best albums, all those tv performances & promotions, asia tour, etc. There was a time when I was worried she would retire but I'm glad we know she is recording a new song and she will attend a-nations.

I also think as long as we think ayu is the queen, she will remain the queen...just like namie amuro is. Sometimes it feels like some people thinks there could only be 1 queen or something and one would replace the other as the queen...but seriously can't there be more than one? and even if they are not considered as queen anymore, does it make people like them less?

Omg this is nothing compared to the period of time from July till November 2006.. It was simply DEAD. At least now we have the asia tour's random news and recently had lots of A BESt 2 news and lives. During the J-N06 period we had NOTHING.

It was so irritating x_X. It's getting to be like that again too. New releases, Ayu, PLEASE!!

Well we had a-nation/eye injury/2-3 CMs, and that was pretty much it.

I'm happy enough for her to be taking a break from releasing, but then i rarely ever listen to her singles, and just focus on getting her albums

He didn't mean a "queen" in general, or even THE "queen of Jpop", he meant that he doesn't want Kumi or anyone else to take Ayu's place in his heart. If Ayu doesn't release, then all you really have to listen to is Kumi and then when Ayu does release, you won't care as much anymore...

Haha I am the exact same way! I thought she always had really good songs the faster she pumped them out... look at all those "I am..." songs, they came out one after another and they're all considered "classics" now. "Secret" also proved to me that the spacing between the releases has little to do with the quality haha because that was her best album in a long time. It's all about having good material
