BEST performance of ANY song!
Ever saw a performance of that one particular song by Ayu, but never had a chance to share it? あなた の CHANSU ！(is that right? "your chance"? O_O)

This is merely an opinionated and fun thread for you to simply post your ultimate favorite (if you have one) performance of any of Ayu's songs! Of course you can post multiple songs, just not multiple performances (unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY can't decide between those couple of performances XD).

Now here are mine...

A Song for XX -- A museum
The beginning is a cappella. 'Nuff said. ^^ I just really love her deepish voice in the performance. It's perfect!

About You
Absolutely perfect. I really love her vocals here - this is how they SHOULD have been on the album. I'm sort of cheating here, since she's only performed this once. ^_^;;

Bold & Delicious -- CDL 2005-2006
I didn't really like this concert, but this bold and delicious performance made it all the more better! I think the Gospel choir in the background REALLY boosted up my opinion on this song AND performance. ^_^

Boys & Girls -- Arena Tour 2005
Of course they're all energetic, but I just feel that this performance of Boys & Girls was THE BEST! To this day I still get chills up my arms. ^^

Dearest -- Arena Tour 2002
Okay, so her voice may not be perfect to some fans' standards, but I truely adore the acoustic version and her strong vocals at the end.

flower garden -- A museum
Like Boys & Girls, it's really hard to say that there is a "best" performance of this song since it's nothing but fun and has been performed at least once or twice a year. However, I actually found one. In this performance, I really love the long-going energy and Ayu's little - er, I should say HUGE - vocalizing to the rock music. ^^

HANABI -- a-nation '05
One word: Beautiful.

HEAVEN -- Music Station (10/07/2005)
If I remember right, this was the most glorious performance I ever saw of the song of all performances.

independent -- CDL 2006-2007
She forgot the lyrics! XD How cute! And she was just so happy, you could easily tell. ^^

is this LOVE? -- a-nation '05
She produced on my arms and in my heart nothing but chills! It was so wonderful!

July 1st -- a-nation '05
Her vocals were perfect and the atmosphere was fabulous! So powerful!

M -- CDL 2004-2005
... I think. ^^;; XD How can anyone pick just ONE performance of this magnificent song?

Naturally
Again, I'm cheating because she's only performed this once. But I have to say that I love the instrumental break the most, and when she performed it live? It just blew me away. I mean, who wouldn't be blown away after that huge explosion? (laugh)

SEASONS -- Concert Tour 2000 vol. 1
Again, a cappella, but the ENTIRE song was a cappella! And from the way it sounded, gosh, it just really sounded like she sang straight from the heart. <3 (Stadium Tour's performance comes by as a close second.)

teddy bear -- Arena Tour 2003
Okay, so there were only two performances, but this one always touches my heart.

Trauma -- CDL 2004-2005
She forgot her lyrics. Enough said. XD



That's all I can think of. For now, at least.

INSPIRE CDL 04-05! her vocal was really good there, especially when the part where there's no music at all, only her vocal.. SO AWSOME!

I have to agree with the CDTV RAINBOW, and I thought that the Fly High and NEVER EVER were pretty good in BEST of CDL.

i know there are a few performances i really love but i can only remember these few now:

HANABI ~ acoustic version - a-nation 05
it was awesome. totally awesome.

CAROLS - arena tour 05
beautiful vocals. beautiful glittery scene. and omg cute now-not-to-be-seen naoto.

walking proud - arena tour 05
okie i am cheating. this is one of my favs songs and she only performed it in arena tour 05. but it was awesome in my opinion.

trauma - CDL 2004-2005
she was so uber cute when she forgot the lyrics. lol.

Vocally, she was the best in 2003~2004.

now that one, is flawless. Way better than how she sings nowadays.

Flawless too. *_*

Music Fair 21 - Haru yo, koi
Perfectly amazing.

As for the best concert, that's definitely Arena Tour 2003-2004. Those performances are outstanding, vocal- and outfit wise.

That was really awesome. It felt like Ayumi had so much power when she performed that! Also, she was hot!

How about STEP you during a-nation 05? I love that performance. I like the beginning, when she and her dancers rise up onto the stage doing they're routine before Ayu starts singing. That little outfit she wore was very cute. I also like during the middle of the performance when she rejects all four of the guys and their gifts (which I thought was actually quite ironic considering shes singing about adoring a guy and wanting to get to know him) while looking oh so cute at the same time, and continues do that little dance with her female dancers. And of course that pose!! Too... much... cuteness...

A Song for XX - Dome tour
this performance really shocked me. It made me feel painful especially when there is the subtitle of its lyric. I cried in front of the computer and determined to be a fans of ayu since that day. I'll never forget how it impacted me.

her best performance has to definitely be GAME from AT2005 - it gave a new life to the song

Others include because of you - MTV singapore (her lying down singing)
and M from MTV award as well ( she wore a gorgeous red dress)
how can i not include walking proud from AT05 It is just breath taking
and the lovely lovely; her best NHS performance (not JEWEL) moments ( although the blace mini dress is kind of waky
Pride and rainy day deserve an honorable mention too.
