What kind of music in spanish would you like to hear??

This thread may sound a little stupid and useless, but i have met several people in this forum that really like spanish. So, I want to ask all of you which genre do you like the most so i can know which types of songs should i post.
Or maybe you could directly name some artist/s and i'll do what i can to find their music (obviously in spanish)
I will also post their lyrics with their respective english translation, so everybody will be able to enjoy the song

I like spanish pop... which is kind of broad, but more in the style of Julieta Venegas, Aterciopelados, Juanes, Lu, Coti, Belinda, Laura Pausini, Bacilos, Shakira, Paulina Rubio...

I don't understand more than basic Spanish, but I'm adamant it's the most beautiful language in the world I listen to a lot of online Spanish radio which is how I find new artists I like. And I'm always open to new artists to add to my favourites

I'm a rather big Paulina Rubio fan even though I only have one of her albums.

I like dance music the most, and Spanish sounds awesome. Put 'em together and you have my attention.

I took Spanish for four years in HS but I can barely even remember how to conjugate now, haha.

Oh gosh don't get them started xDDD! I honestly haven't found many Spanish songs that I like hahaha (I'm horrible) I tried Belanova and they were alright but I ended up deleting them from my comp I guess it's cause I'm a sucker for female vocals and pop/rock kinda songs... Jazz is nice too >w<.

if you dun mind Guilty_me, I would to share a song by Gloria Trevi.

This is a live performance and apparently she dosen't know the first part of her lyrics, might've been an early performance. The words of the song are dedicated to the women murder in Ciudad Juarez. It has really powerful lyrics.

ARTIST: Gloria Trevi
SONG: inmaculada(immaculate)
ALBUM: Una Rosa Blu(A Blue rose) 2007
STYLE OF MUSIC: POP-ROCK
STRENGTH OF THE ARTIST: Writing and Singing abilities

Quote:
LYRICS:

Inmaculada
immaculate
De niña con vestido de princesa
a girl with a princess dress
Durmiendo en un castillo de muñecas
Sleeping in a Doll castle
Soñabas con el príncipe del cuento
Dreaming about the prince from the Story
Sin ver lo que te deparaba el tiempo
not realizing what was ahead
Siempre sonriendo
always smiling

(Ok I tried my best to translate the song but it's kinda difficult... I can't do it anyone care to finish ? SORRY! T_T)

Inmaculada
A engaños internada en el desierto
La noche te observaba en silencio
Igual que los que callan por el miedo
No importa cuanto daño te hayan hecho
Tu sigues siendo… ¡Inmaculada!

Princesa de la noche
Princess of the night
Vestida con un nudo en la garganta
Dressed up with a knot in your throat
Golpeada por la furia
beaten by the fury
Después abandonada e ignorada
then abandoned and ignored
Perseguirá por siempre al asesino
The murderer will be hunt forever
Tú ultima mirada
by your last glance

Inmaculada
En el lugar que siempre habías soñado
Hay alguien que del mal te ha rescatado
En un corcel de plata y en sus brazos
Te cuenta que en tu vientre maltratado
Te dieron vida… ¡Inmaculada!

¡Inmaculada! ¡Inmaculada! ¡Inmaculada!
immaculate! immaculate! immaculate! <-LOL!
The Album version is a bit faster if anyone is interested just let me know!

I've never heard it!! It has very good lyrics. I'll finish the transaltion later if u don't mind.
To all the people on the forum that don't know anything about Ciudad Juarez, well it's a city on Mexico in where there are a lot of murders of women.
They really live with fear cause it's incredible the number of women death at this place. It's really really sad. I'll post this picture just that you can see how many crosses there are (obviously there are MUCH more, this is just a little part)

Anyway, returning to the topic i swear i read every post and then i'll post music of everything you ask me.
And here's another much more happy video from Gloria Trevi. It was a super hit this year (2007) . It's very I-WILL-SURIVE-like.And i think it won best video XD (don't know how XD!!, tough her hairstyle remebers me the ayu's Bold & Delicious one...sorry)

I'll post the lyrics later, cause now i'm on a hurry XD!!
