Well, PVs are commercial, period. They stand for Promotional Videos, and hence they are to promote a song to sell.
If you mean PV with the least substance, I'd say Blue Bird, B&D, Evolution (still don't get that PV), Pride (I guess if you squint hard enough you can find some sort of meaning), and the list goes on. Personally I think I once heard someone interpret greatful days as a PV that conveys "happiness can occur anytime, anywhere", plus it was nicely shot, and I think Real me has plenty of meaning. Just because there's dancing does not take the substance out.

While I think Ayu's PVs always contain symbolic and intelligent elements I'd say Greatful Days & BLUE BIRD are probably the most commercial-looking.
I'm really surprised to see some people listing Daybreak! And amused. This, I'd say, is her least commercial PV ever. |
