That's why I said it was a take on her older stuff. She's still on a cross at the end of it. :| About SURREAL... she puts on feathers and a big hat after SURREAL. :O

I thought it was all pretty new, actually. 1 LOVE and until that Day... have performances that are similar to the ones performed before, but that was the same song so it's kind of logical.~ The only song that immediately struck me as copied was part of Me. Secret isn't copied, it's just being sung solo without dancers. kiss 'o kill is rather new as well, with the guys in the capes and everything. The cross maybe copied, but it's not the entire performance of the song so it's not so much annoying as with part of Me, where even the screen behind it has the same "repetitive" camera thing... If you know what I mean. It's okay if you use the fans and the elevated platform and everything, but at least come up with ONE new aspect. Well, okay, the guy falling into the hole was new. But they could have brought it a step further, by um... I don't know. XD

1LOVE and until that Day... were somewhat similar to the performance of NEVER EVER at AT02/CDL06-07 I think.

Except they had poles or something. XD

For the most part though, a lot of the tour had striking similarities to older tours. I wonder if AT08 will be completely new stuff? :O~

1 LOVE is definitely one of the highlights, then its kiss o' kill.

in 1 LOVE, ayu was ultra sexy in the cage etc. then the poles suddenly disappeared and the 5 ladies on stage did pole dancing! ayu put in so much energy into it that i saw the pole was nearly gonna break lol.

oh i duno how to describe it anymore! 2 more weeks to the DVD!

@th: The NEVER EVER performance (as you probably know xD) of CDL06-07 was indeed in a cage, and then they break out by smashing the cage with a chair. But the dancing is hardly similar to 1 LOVE, and not even close to until that Day, IMO. The whole mood is different. I think she was just a bit lazy with making concepts for the tour. She should have put JEWEL in the main setlist and done the glitter stuff like from Music Station.

She probably wanted to give her ASIA TOUR elements of older concerts so that her OS fans could experience it and stuff..

That makes the most sense. And I didn't know about the cross at the end of Endless sorrow! Jeez, I should try to find that show, I'm curious to see it...

Yes, I know that the pole-dancing and entire ambiance and stuff of the whole "set" was very much different, but you can't deny that some of the elements are still there [but with new twists, it's what Ayu does to make things interesting when she does end up reusing concepts]

Another thing. During SURREAL, the little crystal chandelier look that came from CAROLS when she's on the circular part of the runway is there... I'm not sure why they used it though. D=

Madonna put herself up on a cross for a song during a recent tour and it was just to ~*ruffle feathers*~. It's stupid, really, so I'm wondering at how it's done in Ayumi's performance.

Basically she did it with a bunch of statistics about world hunger / death / international issues in the background and she also had a wreath of thorns on her head. It was like she was trying to be Jesus-y, when Ayu was just doing it for the sake of looking amazing. :O

@alter: LOL. That's kind of true. But it's OK, I know most of the acts anyway. I just don't want to see M and the encore yet. ^.^ Though, yea, it DOES look a lot like the CAROLS thing.

@Inori/th: Yea, it was rather annoying with Madonna trying to be Jesus. It's bad enough that my family thinks everyone who stands in front of a cross tries to be Jesus; let alone if they actually wear a thorn crown. But if Ayu's AT07 is the same as CDL0506, then she'll only stand in front of the cross and it goes down eventually. So no hanging from the cross with a thorn crown. It's the only part of the concert that I really wanna see before I watch the DVD with zeh family.~ 'Cause if she DOES actually hang from the cross they are so going to ban Ayu from the household, lol.
