How to tell authenticity of Ayu goodies on eBay?

I am looking to buy Ayupan and Ayu goodies from eBay and of course I don't wanna get ripped off, knowing how many fake Ayu stuff is on eBay. Do you guys have any tips to tell if it's the real deal or not?

Is this real?

honestly its hard to tell you have to look at the inside to see the licence . you should ask picture of the inside ; its like those dior and vuitton bag 99 percent on ebay are fakes thats why people never put pictures of the inside .there is an other thing that could make u suspicious if its ship from china or korea (like most of the jpop cd that they sell are fakes but called " overseas version" with different covers wrong titles extra cd etc ... ) .

THIS IS YOUR RIGHT TO NOW WHATS INSIDE ! if the seller tell u he cant take pictures of the inside than its a fake .

Ayu bootleggers tend not to make exact copies of merchandise, aside from ayupans (which are easy to spot). With concert goods, if it looks like the real thing, it usually is. It's safe to say this one's the real thing.

honestly i dont agree with u . if it look real it doesnt means it is . i saw a lot of A+ imitation . they looks great . the only things difference was the licence .they didnt have that white thing inside that said " licence by avex" or "licence by group ". some sellers are ready to do anything it takes to make "extra money " .

I'd say you can trust Delirium_Zer0 (So you're posting here again?), if it looks real it most likely is. Also the fact that it is shipped from Japan makes it way more trustworthy. All the bootleg stuff is shipped from HK and will in 99% of the cases look different.

There was some thread way back with a lot of great advice about spotting bootlegs, I think me, Deli and SunshineSlayer posted a lot in it... maybe you could try to make a search. It might have been mainly about CDs/DVDs, though.

You can't really trust the feedbacks since the huge bootlegging companies from HK sell bootlegs on eBay more or less legally, and people most often give good feedback since it's the bootlegs they're after anyway (cheaper).

immel: It would seem I am... not really sure how it happened o___o i just kinda came drifting back.

And Mimika, most of the non-CD bootlegged items (like posters & wallscrolls & necklaces etc.) don't bear any resemblance to real items, so. Usually if you see something that looks like a real concert item, it is.

Sure, there are alot of companies who bootleg things like purses, but not jpop purses. Designer purses. CDs & printed goods are REALLY cheap & easy to make, which is why they're bootlegged so often; purses, not so much. With jpop goods like purses & keychains, there's not enough guarantee of profit (with how much it costs to make exact duplicates) for them to bootleg those items.

most of the time, the bootlegs are items are the posters/wallscroll/necklace(as these are made in hongkong, not avex), like Deli had said. but if it's a latest goodies, like AT 08 or CDL 07-08, it's easier to check as you can just go to mu-mo to double confirm the picture.

i had never ever seen a bootleg of the new goodies

Can I just say that this seller is 100% reliable.
I've bought SO much stuff from him (or her) and the items are always in perfect condition (unless stated otherwise)

gothicayu I can understand your point that some Ebay sellers are sinister and try to do anything to sell, but most power sellers or in this case a seller with 100% positive feedback is trustworthy. Some sellers treat their Ebay account very seriously and strive to build up score as if they were working up the trust tree in business between two companies.
