She isn't my favorite artist but I think she has really neat style. She got like a dark vinyl goth r&b style. Her fashion is really interesting. We also seem to forget that she isn't from America but Barbados. They do speak an English dialect there but who is to say there aren't cultural differences? But I agree from our stand point she does seem kind of boring in interviews (or at least the one I saw). Live she wasn't so interesting either. I only saw her on the Graham Norton show with her faux diamond mic.

It just sucks they didn't manage her money well. TLC had trouble but with little things and the fact that they spent more on their videos than they should have.

I listen to a lot of Bajan music like soca, and other Bajan artists and they usually give the same interviews like we do. I don't think it's cultural. They are usually really happy and hyper in their interviews, especially at soca performances.

This is way ot but I love soca music too! My parents know alot of people from Guyana which is how I got introduced to the whole caribbean culture. Even though Guyana isn't from that area I was told they count anyway

Yup! They do! They're also accepted into the Soca Monarch competiton (like American Idol but for soca) and most of the countries are usually Caribbean.

And wow, I still can't believe she only has 20,000. Not that it matters. She doesn't pay for half of her expensive stuff anyways. Celebrities get stuff for free.

Quiet a few artists should have just made new albums instead of making repackaged albums (it made me think of how China does that >_< but their versions offer usually something different from each one.), not just her. I liked her and then she got overplayed to the point if I saw her in person, I'd grab her CDs and shove them down her throat. I don't think she's that pretty at all and the VMA performance SUCKED royally... she was no where near her top game. I mean she has talent, but she needs to go away now.
