the 1st PROMiSE for MiChi MadNesS Thread ♥

Official thread of the newest singer of Sony Music Japan, the pop rock singer MiChi. For those who do not know her, she just debuted with her first major single "PROMiSE" past week and it is already well placed in digital ranks (the physical single is doing well too! that's such a surprise, at least, for me).

Before that, she had already released an EP called "MiChi MadNesS" with songs written by herself and cover of some random English songs (such as Fergie's "London Bridge" and Spice Girls' "Wannabe").

Official biography:

MiChi is a English/Japanese singer born in England in 1985. Moved to Kobe, Japan two years old before moving back to England in 1995. Determined to be a singer, she returned to Japan, where she met the producer Tomokazu Matsuzawa (which produces artists such as Mika Nakashima, Miliyah Kato, SOULHEAD, CHEMISTRY...). The track "Surrender" was released in a dance compliation towards 2007, released a year later in her first album entirely in English "MiChi MadNesS". Tthe album had great to sales knowing that it was a independent release, with such a long chartlife. Now she is officially at Sony Music Japan, debuting with "PROMiSE" single.
