HOLY CRAP. That's great!
But I hope such a taxing performance doesn't kill her haha. Stay strong, Ayu!

Holy crap. Dying to see the set list. But I'm wondering if that means she will be canceling some of her other new years performances. I'm thinking there may be no CDTV live this year.

Holy ****.

That was my first thought.

This is going to be total awesomeness.

If she pulls this off in the ways she usually does, this is going to secure Ayu's place as just...one of the greatest artists ever.

Not really. Although 3 1/2 hours is completely awesome and is rare. There are some artists though that perform 3 1/2 hour or more sets regularly. Guns n' Roses did a few around that length - one of which was an insane 4+ hour show of 39 songs, Bruce Springstein was famous for super long shows, Kiyoharu in Japan is known for insanely long shows as well - just to name a few off the top of my head.

Are there female artists in Japan that did such long lives though? ^_^

I'm so looking forward to see the whole thing and the setlist, I'm so excited about this and hopefully it will be ayu's greatest live by far!!

I'd have to do some research, but it's possible. Though I'm sure none of the current popular female artists have. If I had to make a wild guess though, I would say that Rebecca probably did such a show.

... 30 songs... Is she serious.... I mean... Utada United 2006 was... *goes to look it up* 20 songs.. and Utada still had a pretty weak voice after that, so to say... O_O.. Well, at least it's only one day.

Blah... 30 songs... three and a half hours... That's absolutely crazy.

As a matter of fact, I wish I could go. (lol)

PREMIUM COUNTDOWN LIVE!!!!!!

*by the way: Her CDL's aren't usually filled with huge effects, are they? I mean, ASIA TOUR had the huge Mirrorcle World ship as well as the kiss o' kill cross. I watched CDL 2007-2008 the other day. It was pretty dry with effects though, other than that neat cherry picker thing for "SURREAL." Heh.

Yeah, the CDLs are of considerably lower budget compared to her normal mid-year tours, but they're still pretty incredible.

I dunno how they're even gonna have time to brainstorm ideas for the sets though - seems to me ayu needs to concentrate on practicing the songs themselves.

Eehhhhh, 30 songs?! Wow... that is exciting and scary. But, I know she'll do her best, and I know they'll all work very, very hard.

Though, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those songs are included in a medley or two, maybe...

Honestly I would love it if the concert turned out to be less about the theatrics and more about the songs.
