hmmm I don't know...Maybe someone will post an answer to that, they look very identical I think there the same thing, but Ayu's might be the alter version taking in the sides, that show skin, since Rihanna walked down the runway with her.

Wow, I really think they are the same.
The photo of Rihanna was taken from a runway show. It was set to be her debut in the modeling (runway-ish) arena back in 2007 if I'm not mistaken. So the dress Rihanna is wearing is kind of like the unfinished product when compared to Ayu's. Once a runway piece is put into major manufacture, recreation of the dress is done to fix any major problems that might have taken away from the piece during its debut on the catwalk. If this is the same dress, the designer (and/or manufacturers) seemed to fix the top part of the dress and eliminated the unnecessary open-flaps underneath the breasts.

but yeah they do look very similar ^_^ i dont like rihanna's dress though

One thing for sure is that Ayu's hair is so much nicer than Rihanna's! And I agree with Aisha_Angel... appears that some features on Rihanna's dress were changed to make it more "wearable" I guess. If I'm a girl, I don't want to wear a dress with some open space under my boobs...
