About OBI strips

Does anybody know..
Which releases have and which releases don't have this kind of OBI? (white background, black letters and logo)

A good majority of them will be available that way, since a lot of reprints are printed like that. (The "nice" OBIs tend to be first press stuff.) You may also have luck with OS, HK, and KR versions.

actually most of her singles release after year 2002 are color obis, different from those plain white background with black letters

^almost all of mine are black and white, even the japan versions. I really think it has something to do with first press and normal press perhaps.

Her albums up to I am... have them then it started again at Startin/Born to Be.

Taiwan versions have ugly blue obis >__< with "Ayumi Hamasaki" and the title of the CD written in chinese...

I wonder how Sunset/Sunrise -LOVE is ALL- OBI is gonna looks like.... since the title is quite long

i never notice baout the obi color i know daybreak had a very pretty blue one

Pretty much all her singles/albums up to I am.. have a white obi with 浜崎 あゆみ in black, except M which has a slight gold background. From Daybreak to Bold & Delicious, it's ayumi hamasaki with a coloured background, except HEAVEN which is ayumi hamasaki with a white background. From (miss)understood it switches back to 浜崎 あゆみ with white backgrounds, but some releases have the fonts in different colours. (m)u is red font, while A BEST 2 -black- has a black background with white font. All releases starting with MW have white backgrounds with different coloured font (usually matches the colour of the title on the cover). Sunrise/Sunset has a tealish background with white font (first time for a coloured obi with 浜崎 あゆみ)!

I thinkkk that's the most accurate info about the obis

Startin'/Born To Be... already have the text colored. But they reverted to the black and white scheme from BLUE BIRD to talkin' 2 myself. Technically, the colored obis with Ayu's Japanese name started with Mirrorcle World. Not S/S ~LiA~

The YOU version had a gold obi with white text. Days/GREEN had a pink obi with white text. Rule/Sparkle CD+DVD had a pink obi with yellow text, CD Only Jacket B had yellow obi with pink text. Jacket C had a green one with pink text.

yeah & that goes for other avex artistes who receive Taiwan presses & also for the Johnny's bands too

I find nothing wrong in it even though it's quite unslightly but it's the contents of the CD that matters at the end of the day

somemore Taiwan press are in terms of quality to me & I saved 1/2 of the amount if I were to pay a Japan press

And I was so close to being right I just noticed that Startin'/Born to be is only half text coloured though.

Hi, i wanna know does ayu-mi-x IV+selection Acoustic Orchestra Version, and ayu-mi-x IV + selection Non-Stop Mega Mix Version come with the OBI strip or not? I got the HK (oversea) version but no OBI. Or Japan version does have OBI? Thanks.

the hong kong OS versions are exactly the same as the japanese obis, not like the ungly white and blue taiwanese OS version obis.
