flumpool to release their first PV collection

It's been revealed that flumpool will release a PV collection titled "flumpool Music Clips 2008-2014: MOVEMENT" on August 9.

The band's first PV collection will feature a total of 24 music videos from their indies single "labo" to their latest "Believer's High". It will be sold in both DVD and Blu-ray forms at Yokohama Arena on August 9 and 10th, Osaka-jo Hall on August 23 and 24th, and Amuse's online shop 'ASMART'. More details will be revealed on June 4.

All I can say is that it's ABOUT time they release their 1st PV collection as it's super duper long overdue , especially since I'm waiting so long to have most if not all their PVs in DVD rip mode *_*

Indulge in flumpool's music while feasting your eyes on visual narratives via the band's upcoming music clip collection. "flumpool Music Clips 2008-2014 MOVEMENT", first announced last May, will feature 23 music videos aptly displaying flumpool's growth as artists.

In addition, it will have the music video to their indie single "labo" and various TV spots. Encased in a special box, the music clip collection will also include 23 photo and lyric cards.

"Satria Garuda BIMA-X" sees close collaboration between RCTI TV and ISHIMORI Production, a production company that developed Japan's famous Kamen Rider. The first season, "Satria Garuda BIMA" was shown in Indonesia back in June last year and became a popular phenomenon in country. This year, the show is back with a sequel titled "Satria Garuda BIMA-X" and is set to air on the same channel again from the 14th of September onwards.

flumpool to compose a song for Indonesian TV Show

flumpool has been lately widening their activities to Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, and now they have taken their first step to take over Indonesia!

flumpool has announced that they will be in charge of the opening song for an Indonesian TV show, original hero drama titled "Satria Garuda BIMA-X", which will start airing on 2014/09/07.

The makers of the program wanted to have a Japanese band perform the opening song for the show, and the reason why they selected flumpool is because of the activities they have been doing around Asia for a long time.

flumpool's Yamamura Ryuta & Sakai Kazuki, Kameda Seiji, and more form a unit

It's been revealed that Kameda Seiji, Yamamura Ryuta (Vo / flumpool), Sakai Kazuki (G/ flumpool), Sugimoto Yuji (Vo, Piano / WEAVER), and Tamada Tom (Dr / 100s) have formed an unit called 'THE TURTLES JAPAN' for a limited time.

The idea of this new unit began when flumpool's Yamamura and Sakai, who celebrated the 5th anniversary of their debut, sought after new inspirations. The two suggested they form a unit to Kameda, who agreed willingly. In addition, Yamamura and Sakai have previously appeared on Kameda's radio program and held a session live together. This is said to be another reason why they decided to form the unit.

The unit name comes from the American rock band The Turtles. Just like The Turtles' representative song "Happy Together", the new unit hopes to "walk together with the listeners through music".

THE TURTLES JAPAN will perform for the very first time at 'MBS Oto Matsuri 2014' which will be held from October 10 to the 12 at Osaka-jo Hall. They are expected to perform some of their original songs during this live.

Japan's flumpool wants to go global like Mayday

Japanese pop-rock band flumpool said it hopes to go global one day and match the international appeal of Taiwan rock band Mayday during a media conference in Singapore on Friday (August 1).

SINGAPORE: Japanese pop-rock band flumpool said it wants to go global in the future, when they met their fans and the media at a media conference at JCube on Friday (August 1), ahead of their Saturday (August 2) concert, which is part of a concert tour that marks the band's fifth anniversary.

'We really respect (Taiwan band) Mayday and want to be like them. We want to become a band that can attract people coming from different countries,' said vocalist Ryuta Yamamura of flumpool's plans for the future.

He added that the band's music has undergone a lot of changes over the past five years, and will continue to evolve in the years to come.

When asked about the band's favourite Singaporean delicacy, Yamamura said they loved Chilli Crab, especially the fried buns that come with it.

The band, which is made up of Yamamura, Kazuki Sakai (guitar), Genki Amakawa (bass) and Seiji Ogura (drums), autographed posters for their fans and even gave a surprise performance of their hit song Hana Ni Nare at the media conference.

The pop-rock quartet's Saturday gig will be their first ever major concert in Singapore though they had performed here a few times before.
