Nop, she's an HKT member.

She was the first original HKT to rank. 47th in 2012 and she participated in UZA that year.
Last year she went up to 26th and this year she ended up 11th, so she is in Kokoro no Placard senbatsu (you know, that list you posted in the first post of the thread ).

So it's understandable that she got the center with the huge leap she made this year (Ricchan went from 25th to 16th and that was already amazing), although I'd rather have Paruru-Ricchan, Sayanee-Ricchan or just Ricchan lol

HKT, on the other hand, has now Haruppi as center for their new single, Hikaeme I love you! (while Sakura is 2nd and Sasshi is 3rd):

I like Kokoro no Placard too, I thought it was cute. And I'm happy Milky won because she's one of my favorite NMB members but I was hoping a lesser known member would win the top spot. Hopefully the song is good.

It isn't bad per se, but trying to replicate KFC's success so early... it's a fishy move, and it hurt Mayu, IMO.

Anyway, Nogizaka's new single is the best they've ever released.

Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they're random.

Fuuko and Miru have been heavily pushed for the past year (Miru's popularity actually exploded this year).

And it's about time NMB used someone else as center. If this year's election showed something is that Sayanee is waaaaaaaaaay ahead of everyone else in NMB popularity-wise, and they need to shorten that gap. They don't want another AKB sans Acchan situation.

^Regular people is not necessary who buys their CDs, you need to watch AKBingo when they go to the street to ask people if they recognize somebody in the group. You will understand they only recognize top 5

For example Hey! Say! JUMP, they use to sell 200k for every release, but they go to street and people only recognize the center member and they barely remember his name (Even if his solo CD sold 216k)

been seing all the old AKBingos and I am mourning over the loss of many beloved members. I still like AKB but with acchan, yuko, tomochin, mariko and many other members gone... it just feels different. I am hanging around because of those who are still there (mayuyu, yukirin and ESPECIALLY TAKAMINA).
