No remix album on september this year...?

I am really dispointed...every year from 2001 now there is remix album on september (above all the AyuTrance series album...) but it seems like nothing is prepared for this year...Is it real???

nope~
it seems tht avex isn't tht enthusiastic in releasing remix albums for ayu anymore, esp. after the pathetic sales numbers of last year's remixes

ayu-mi-x 5, ayu trance 3, ayu-ro mix 3: 3 albums ADD up to around 150K only...
compared w/ the ~250K for ayu trance 2 solely

We're getting Ayumi Hamasaki Songs meets China Princess Orchestra in September.

I suppose there may never be a set of remix albums again, since the aforementioned stats show that most of Ayu's singles sell more than the combined stats of the RMX WORKS on their 1st or 2nd week, so Avex must've decided to just start releasing CD+DVD sets in place of the remix CDs. Too bad.

perhaps they should release 1 really good one instead of 3 like RMX works.

I think one of the problems, IMO, was that they used remixers which aren't as popular as those like Armin, Ferry, Above & Beyond, etc. Until the release of Ayu-Trance 3, I never heard of mixers like Norman Bass. Ayu-Trance, in itself, was perhaps the most original of the 3 Ayu-Trance CDs, in which all the remixers are well-known in some aspect. I guess Avex might've thought that hiring cheaper remixers=better sales.

the problem is that ayu trance was never as popular as the eurobeat, so that excuse is really x_x.

the third eurobeat album was light, x_x, it sucked, so, people didn't buy it. ayu-mi-x 5 sucked A LOT too.

bad remixes=bad sales

i thot ayu-mi-x 5 was brilliant!
better than it's precursors, in my opinion
i esp. loved the 'Close to you', 'Real me' and 'Free & Easy' remixes~
It's one of my favorite remix albums (the other begin ayu trance 2)

they might change things around....i suppose CAROLS is the end of year single...
last year No way to say came out in November (Memorial address release in December) and year before Voyage came out in September (RAINBOW also release in December)
i think they might "put" something in between November-January
...i'm seeing a full album with remix album along with it:shrudder
but remix album is a bad idea...every year the sales drops by ALOT compares to the first one
and as Jose mention CD+DVD might be a replacement for it and we might see something new

Thumbs down Not no more remixes, ACK!

Well, I hope we can still get something...maybe something like LOVEppears, where they tack on some remixes with an album? Or on a single, or SOMETHING. I want Memorial Address to be properly remixed already.

This is sad. I loved her remixes.

It makes me really sad...but yeah...I see Ayumi's remixes vanishing slowly, and now there are basically none. I wonder if there'll be many more? I kind of doubt it. I hate it, because remixes were the #1 reason I got into Ayumi in the first place. It's sad to see them go.

They may not be gone entirely, remember, the year's not over, they can still announce something, but I wouldn't count on it. Besides, they may be changing strategy, releasing a remix album every few years instead of 3 or 4 a year.

I hope they won't release new remix album this year... I don't really like remixes but I want to finally buy the "RMX WORKS" (I planned to buy them for so long now) and if any new remix album was realeased I would buy the new one instead :/
