Are Ayu's Concerts sort of repetitive?

While watching some of her concerts, i can't help but notice that in each concert, theres always songs that are an ayu must have song. for example, boys and girls, unite!, trauma, M, and others. I think that she should bring up some older songs like Voyage. That would be a great concert song. As a matter of fact, i don't think she has a concert with Voyage in it. *GASP*
anyways what do you guys think, should ayu keep singing the same ayu must have songs at her concerts or change her style and sing some older songs that have not been forgotten?

im relli sick of UNITE!, Boys & Girls and evolution...others like surreal, trauma i don't mind because they are good performances

i do wish she performed more of her other great songs as well, like memorial address, rainbow and others

i wanna see Kanariya,Voyage, Dearest, Endless Sorrow, and Duty performed......even thought some have been performed before....but they were so good live...and Kanariya is just unexlplainable....Fly high is in almost every one of her tours but kanariya has been in none...oh and she did perform Voyage once in a tour. it was LIMITED TEAMAYU TOUR 2003's encore. it was in the encore but i dont really think anyone has seen it unless yu went to the concerts. I dont know if tv versions have the encores.

Voyage was performed during Countdown Live 2002-2003.
kanariya is too high to be sung live.

I don't mind the same songs, I just wish POWDER SNOW and ever free would be performed atleast once. And no, ever free from Concert Tour was not live, it was the H/\L's Mix. Nor does the "Secret Live" concert count for POWDER SNOW.

She sung dolls in that secret live performance shown on TV or something. XDD

But yes those songs are a bit repetitive. She should try more different songs on her CDLs. :3

I think the most played songs would have to be Boys and Girls, Unite, Surreal, Evolution, Flower Garden and Trauma (which surprisingly, was the one she decided to skip in the latter concerts of her my story tour...). TO be honest, if i were a participant in the concert, I would surely be expecting one of these songs, because i would gladly pay a lot to see Ayumi perform her most popular songs and dance to them together with the crowd (such as in Trauma), or sing certain parts of the song out loud with the whole audience. Of course when we watch the concerts at our homes, we would get bored with these performances repeated all over again. But it is these songs which get the crowd in the concert pumped up, and if i were there, it would be a great feeling to be with a super pumped up crowd. If i were a first-time participant in ayu's concert, i would surely be disappointed if one of these songs wouldn't be performed.

I think the Countdown live tours have become a great venue for showcasing Ayu's classics which she hardly ever sings in concerts (such as with endless sorrow, because of you and theme of a-nation in '05-'06, and with duty, immature and whatever in '04-'05). Maybe it would be a good idea if Ayumi has one segment n her latest concert tour where she will perform one classic song of hers which she hardly performs, then change the song with every different city/date she performs in :p then she will include all these performances in the DVD, so everyone (myself included) will be happy

We can't control what Ayu chooses...and I like whatever Ayu has to offer. But of course different songs would be nice for different concerts. Most of the songs I never get tired of anyway...though^^''

I wonder why Ayu uses certain songs a lot for her concerts? Hmm...variety might help her out a bit to spice things up at concerts

Yes I would too be expecting those songs at a live concert. I guess Ayu chooses popular songs in concerts..which is good for people who watch it live.

I think they're all pretty repetitive except for ARENA TOUR 2005~MY STORY~ A. That was a fairly refreshing concert. I think she should perform more of songs like WHATEVER, monochrome, Endless sorrow, POWDER SNOW, For my dear, appears, Far away, still alone, Naturally, Daybreak, and RAINBOW. I would really like to see her stop performing Trauma.

like it or not, her old hits are ayu's trademarks. People would hear them in concert and go like "ah! That's the Ayu I remember, this used to be a major hit".
Ayu's concerts are, compared to any other artist on the world, absolutely superior. They invest alot of money in the concerts, and they use the biggest stage-settings, decor and the weirdest costumes. Many artists just wear the same thing for the entire concert, Ayu changes after almost every few songs, returning on stage with huge dresses.

Ayu's Countdown Live-concerts have a little lesser budget, and because of that you can maybe say some negative stuff about them. But we should feel extremely happy that Ayu has these amazing arena tours. Do not get spoilt! =)

^ I agree. Her ARENA TOURS are absolutely superb. Even her CDL concerts outshine most other artists' ARENA TOURS. Her CDLs are usually more elaborate than Hikki or Mika's ARENA TOURS.

haha.. i feel that SURREAL shouldnt be there.. the rest are ok... but still, she should not waste her repertoire into singing these songs.. surely there are newer songs that involve audience participation.. such has Hummint 7/4..
