Wink From all the attempts to brainwash people with Ayu's music..

What songs did your friends/family members/etc like?! For instance, if you played a song for them from Ayu, and they liked it, what was their positive reaction to the song? And if so, what is the song you let them listen to?

I let my boyfriend listen to Ayu's (miss)understood and he loved it He normally doesn't like girl rock, but he said Ayu's voice fits the music perfectly and he dug the chorus of the song

That made me very very happy

My family hates any song that i play, especially if its J-pop, so that's out of the question. >_<
but if i could let them hear any song, it would be some of her older songs, like Fly High, To Be, Seasons, or Audience. But once, my mom saw Ayu in the M video and thought she was really pretty, and whenever i watch one of the PVs, she surprised to know that they (different Ayus) are all the same person.

my ppl dont really care for it...
they tend to ignore it and dont pay attention.
the only one who listened to her for a short period was my brother, but that stopped long ago and I think he fell rather for her looks than for her music

My family dont like it i think..so i dont bother to force it onto them either, hehe. My sister likes her though, she plays her songs on her (my old) computer sometimes. Only the pop-songs like Real Me etc...And I was playing Seasons the other day, and my mom said it was pretty... Other than that, no-one but me likes Ayu... I havent really showed them any songs, but mom likes really weird music, so I know shw wouldnt like Ayu My sister only listens to generic and bland mainstream pop songs, pussycat dolls, sugababes, eminem..thise kinda songs... I'm the only one with a really wide range of music taste..Besides my dad. He likes all sorts of things,but...I know Ayu's not his cup of tea... The only one i know (in real life) who lies Ayu is a guy that went to my high-school, he digged her...

I tried converting my sister into an Ayu fan through Dearest. She liked it until she heard the end "la la la" part, which scared her.

My sister's a fan anyway (she was a fan before I was really), but no one else really likes her that much ^^;; my uncle likes the trance stuff though, and my mom thought the M video was pretty.

SEASONS IS the typical mom song indeed. My mother loves it. She also really loves Voyage.

My aunt was dancing to Ladies Night the last time I played it, but my family hasn't really heard any other of Ayu's music...unless they pay attention to it when they hear it through the walls...if its not in English why listen to it...right?

for me,dad hardly notice when i played ayu's music. it's my mum who will watch once in a while with me, like ayu's concert. though my mum ALWAYS says why does ayu kept singing the same songs in every concert? i had no answer for that. she always had the irking habit to add in that if my grandpa is still alive, he would KILL me for supporting japanese's works. my grandpa was in WW2 fighting them, he hates japanese.
but, my sis, YAY! she likes ayu too, because of me, who kept playing ayu all over the place. i remember she said she likes M and HEAVEN.

I normally don't share my music interests but I let my mom listen to monochrome from stadium tour 2002 and SURREAL from dome tour 2001 (only a small part of both songs) from my ipod. She said it was nice, but didn't put any more interest.

my mom likes "Dearest", "CAROLS", "Trauma" from Ayu's concerts. She thinks that Dearest is very emotional and pretty.

My family doesn't really "get" Japanese music at all. As for other people, I've played a TON of Ayu around my then-bf now ex-bf/best friend and the only songs he really likes are Moments and... of all things, Girlish. o_O; yea, he's a little strange. lol
