favorite guitarists?
well, mine would have to be Slash from GNR. His guitars sounds really good and plus he's awesome at it.

The other one is Angus Young from ACDC. wow! jsut listen to him and you'll know exaclty what I am talking about.

Another one for me is Tom Morello. If you hear him play he makes it sound like he's using techno and some kind of synthesizer, however it is only his guitar.

Listening to DEP as well now; Under The Running Board, it's so effin' brilliant.

And I should really check out HORSE the Band. Heard so much about them.

Slash, Jimmy Page, Pata, hide (X Japan), Daita (SIAM SHADE)... Who else... Can't think of anyone else at the moment.

I would have to say that hide is probably my favorite. Out of the ones listed he may not be the best but he inspired me to pick up guitar in the first place. I wait for the day I'm able to play some of his songs!

I never heard of the Great Kat... Is she any good?

It's so sad there aren't really any AMAZING female guitarists.

HORSE the band is freakin' fantastic. Their new CD, THEMECHANICALHAND, is fantastic. It's the only thing I've been listening to lately other than Dog Fashion Disco's newest album Adultery, which is freakin' AMAZING, by the way. And yeah, you're right about the Great Kat. I heard a radio interview with her, and I was cracking up the whole time. She ALWAYS yells. She can play some CRAZY stuff, though.

Ultimate favorite is SLASH from GUN 'N' ROSES!!!!!!!!!
Other favorite guitarists are hide & Pata (X Japan), Inoran (Luna Sea) and the lead guitarist from Red Hot Chili Peppers (I forgot his name...)!
