compared to the period from No Way to Say all the way to HEAVEN where all of them reached 300,000+, no it is not a lot of people as her fan base is really ~300k. if a lot of people did like it, this single would have easily sold 300k+ because it had ayu in it.

I agree on that, but I still think it is a lot. Maybe not for being Ayu, but it's a lot all the same . But that's just my way of seeing it.

I think she has passed the stage where her popularity was unstable... I don't think she can make a comeback because the whole population of Japan have already made their decision about her - she very far from new. The only difference is that her sales drop because she's so old (in the industry). She'll never reach her sales of even 2002 but the fact is, she doesn't need too.

She is still going very strong. I wouldn't say that Koda is stronger than Ayu because she sells better now. Think of what Ayu's done in the past - you can't compare it.

Well, it really has only been two average singles since the 'high 300k' sales, you know?

It might just be an Ayu drought for the Japanese~ :p
I just know that Ayu is gonna be a legend in Japan no matter who pops up to 'challenge' her popularity.

No, I didn't ask for a lecture I didn't have time to read.
I just basically said can you stop bashing her.
Wow, four pictures. Like I said, she has very few sexual views. Four isn't enough to show me that she's a bad, overly sexual, non-talented artist.

Seriously, if this doesn't stop, I'm reporting you. I have nothing whatsoever against you or anything. But when it comes to Kuu, ugh.. You get like a maniac and try to prove to everyone that you're right. People here know you dislike her, people here know you think she's a sex-crazed maniac, but all we ask if for you to drop it because we like her and her music. You bring things up like this in every thread. Always comparing her to other artists, always bashing her, and it gets tiring. This is a thread for the discussion and expectations of Ayu's New Upcoming Single. It was unessesary and childish to start such an arguement. I'm very surprised you're as old as you are. I'd expect this from a four year old. Wouldn't you think people would get offended? It's happened before. Wouldn't You want to prevent it? Or are you that childish?

does it suprised you people are bashing kumi? I notice people on alot of forums use her as excuses from artists not selling well and etc.

Anywho,

Comeback? Ayu hasn't gone anywhere. She is still active with releasing and selling alot. As for Kumi she's selling well so what? Other artist sell good too.

So let me guess Koda is the cause of everything right? Has it ever occured to you that people just don't want to buy Ayu's stuff anymore because they don't like her new songs? Or are u just so one sided that if Ayu doesn't sell well It has to be some artists fault?

The ones posting these long novels about being against a certain artist must have a lot of time on their hands. It's pathetic. Go outside and get some sun or something.

Did I ever say it was just Ayu who was not selling as well? Sure, drama singles and boy-band related singles have been selling a bit above average, but other than that most singles in the top singles list are not as high as that can be, you know?

By now there should be a LOT of 300k+ singles, but I'm just saying now that it could just be an odd coincidence. >>

Thread CLOSED.
It's unbelievable that some initiates can't leave something alone, such as artist bashing in a thread that doesn't even have anything to do with the thread in the first place. Stop disrespecting other artists and each other, please.
