Mp3 player with 1GB+ or less then 1GB?

recently i find that most people like mp3 player with more storage, but the more songs there is, isn't it harder to keep track? especially you just feel like hearing that one song and you have to scroll all the way there? or you only store the songs in your player and you end up very upset when you accidentally delete them?

i prefer my mp3 player with a few hundred MB, once i don't feel like listening currently, i can just delete them and add new ones in easily. i store all my songs in my computer, so it's very easy for me.

^Same here. Ever since I got into jpop I've been addicted to discovering new music. So I like to cary all my music with me. I'm saving for 60GB and I might give my 20GB to my cousin or just use that one for American music and the 60 for everything else..

Yeah...Jpop started it all...

But I have a question, once you get your new 60gb ipod would the songs in your itunes just all go straight into that new ipod?

But isn't it kinda drag to search through thousands of songs just to find one song?

^ thats why you very careflully organise your music files -- if you have an ipod or an mp3 player with a screen.

I have a 30G ipod and i find it's great. I make use of the Playlists function, so i'm not always searching through the whole ipod for the music i wanna listen to.

I've only got a 5gb Zen Micro but it works a treat, i just scroll through artists, which leads to albums which then leads to songs I need more space though

^ My Zen Vision M works on the exact same principle, I don't really have to arrange and organise my Mp3s properly.

I have 1GB Creative MuVo and it's not even nearly big enough! At first I thought I'd be fine but then I noticed that there are just too many good songs...

Something around 20GB would be enough. Gaah... I need money...

you're not weird, having a lot of songs just means that I won't be able to "know" as many songs as opposed to having a few, really good songs. That's what I think

I got a 5 gb mp3 player and its not enough. My ayu stuff takes 3gb at least by itself. ideally i'd like to have any song i want to listen to a few button presses away.

I prefer mp3s with a high storage capacity because you may have a lot of favorite songs but with a lack of place to store them. I always have an urge to listen to something different.
