rare Ayu stuff?

Every time I see an auction on ebay I see "rare" plastered everywhere. I was wondering which Ayu products are rare or hard to come by?

Are these "rare" or hard to find items?

This is rare IF COMPLETE, mostly because the last DVD was an exclusive that you could only get if you mailed in a little card that you got when you bought it. However this promotion has ended I believe.

These are categorized as rare because of the limited 300k availability of each of them. It's interesting to note that many of them are recuts. Kanariya and Fly high are some of the more difficult to find ones.

Unsure about these ones, but I think they're a bit rare because of limited release.. but not sure.

These can easily be attained if you have connections, I think. I've seen some of them available on the Japanese HMV site, but then again, I'm not sure about some of the older releases. I know some users here have gotten them from people in Germany / Europe though..
NOTHING from NOTHING (single & album)
This is definitely one of the most rare Ayu items known to fans because it was from more than 10 years ago! Originals sell for 200USD+ on YahooJapan!Auctions.. They're crazy collector's items, but there're a lot of bootlegs out there so watch out :O
H (Digipack Edition)
Again, I think this was limited because it was a special rerelease in commemoration of the 1million+ sales of H. [A bit like the 24k Gold ver. of A..] but don't take my word for it. :x

The only ones I'd really classify as super rare is the 4 DVD live set(you can find boots all over, but the official complete edition is hard to get and is expensive) and the Nothing From Nothing Single & Album.

Also rare would be anything from her pre-Avex career as an idol.

In addition to what the others have said, I would say that the following singles aren't that hard to come by:
AUDIENCE
Daybreak
Surreal

"Daybreak" was limited issue but isn't as popular compared to other limited singles. I bought my copy of "SURREAL" at Kinokuniya years after the original release date.

I think Daybreak's limited cover is more common than the non-limited one.. xD~

Has anyone ever seen the ORIGINAL NOTHING FROM NOTHING Album?Single? How much would it sell for?

I think the ones that are always seen everywhere , like on ebay, are the re-released Taiwan versions.

What exactly is the Complete Live Box Set with 4 DVDs thing... is it like all her concerts or something from when it was released?

I saw an original NOTHING FROM NOTHING for $70 dollars today. I sooo wanted to buy it, but the auction ended. >.< It started out really cheap too. I guess it was because the lyrics page was accidentally ripped.

I found her original idol tape too.

It's a set of ARENA TOUR 2002, STADIUM TOUR 2002, CDL01-02, and a mail-extra of CDL02-03.

I would say that previously unreleased version~ the other side ONE is quite rare aswell. It was limited to 10,000 copies and is the only one of The Other Sides that can not be bought in store anylonger by what I know. The other "Other Sides" is limited aswell but can still be found.

Well, I meant limited casing..

Maybe it was the OBI... I remember reading something by DeliriumZERO or something about there being more of the 'special plastic OBI' and less of the 'normal' one :O

As far as I know, it only came with the plastic obi.

Yeah... i think only promo copies had a paper one. The plastic obi was supposed to be limited to 300,000 copies but it didn't hit that mark so stores never saw the paper one.

oh yeah they all look rare, also Uraayu Limited Edition is super rare! it was on yesasia awhile ago but my order was cancelled, i still cant get over that! every now and then i think about it makes me

I'm still angry because of the cancellation aswell... Yeah, I guess it can be seen as quite rare, especially a completely mint-quality one, because most of them became damaged when shipped out to the retail stores for the official release.

Yeah, it's that cardboard box it comes in... most copies i've seen are dented and/or worn looking, even new ones.

you get the 4 dvd if you just buy the overseas version
