Here? lol

Yeah, it's Fiona in my avatar, it's a picture from her new album. She cut her hair that short just to shoot 'The Academy' D=, but it's two years old though.

I agree. I mean, I loved Kyoiku and it really quelled any worries I had about Ringo joining a band changing her style drastically, but then Otona (Adult) came along. I really hope that for their next album, they do something with more of her usual rock feel to it, as opposed to jazz.

EDIT: Holy crap! I just looked at the tracklist for the DVD and saw that Honnou's on it. Best Ringo song ever ^_^

I think there's too much Kameda on Adult. I mean, I love me some Kameda, but too much of a good thing. I miss the manic sound they had.

Too much of his influence.

Power struggles happen a bit more there than most groups I think. HZM and Hiirama were both very respectable musicians in their own right, and with Ringo coming off her ever-so-big ego trip of KZK and Kameda with his extensive arranging influence, I'd imagine there were a few talks about styles to go in.

HZM and Hiirama seemed more manic and while Ukigumo and Izawa seem very competent, they seem a bit more complacent as well. I've grown to like Ukigumo more than Hiirama but I miss the insanity of HZM on the piano. I just hope that, while I hearted Otona, they go through a style change again after the concert. I just hope they don't get new members, I do like seeing some kind of consistancy in the group and I think if they stay in longer, their own styles will pervade through the sound of the group as well.

Evolve, but not through switching members, certainly doesn't work in this day and age. Just look at MoMusu.

I don't know, but I like the group better now. Kyoiku was a bit too raw for me. I don't find that album interesting. I only like Sounan & Genjitsu duo. Others are not as catchy as ADULT's tracks. Even the new version of Ringo no Uta don't appeal much to me.

Actually, I don't mind Kameda's style. I like Utaite Myouri, mostly the Kame-pact disc. And so is ADULT.

I'm much more of a fan of Kameda's DAI work. I liked HZM's manic style, and I adored the new Ringo no Uta. Especially live, was an awesome opener to Dynamite out!

Maybe we should start a poll about which of Ringo's styles we prefer most.

For me, I really enjoyed the slightly heavier chill-out influence introduced by Kameda Seiji in Adult. Kyoiku sounded a little too raw for me just like it did for ChrisKay, and I really learnt to enjoy songs like Gunjou Biyori much more in the laid-back style it was delivered with at the Domestic Virgin Line performance in the Budokan.

Yay. Finally someone with love for ADULT xD xD

I adores lots of track in that album. The only horrid tracks are Super Star, Niigata, & Unvisible Man. The rest is just irresistable & you can't even touch "NEXT" button on your iPod whenever you hear them.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who didn't like Superstar. My list for my 3 least favorite tracks is almost the same as yours, except I would take out Yukiguni (my favorite on the album!) and add Tasogare Naki.

I prefer Adult over Kyouiku too, although the latter has some killer tracks, including my favorite (Sounan).

Yay.

I cannot hate Tasogare Naki. It's too mellow, emotional,& soothing at the same time to be left out.

I got Just Can't Help It (DVD) in the mail yesterday. Its amazing. I loved it, although Ukigumo is weird..its like he's bored and he can't wait for it to be over. Plus, I really don't think his guitar playing is that great, he's no Hirama.

Ukigumo's funny, imo.

Izawa REALLY impressed me though, I used to dislike him but now he's like, 3rd fave member.
