Buying tickets through TA?

Hey all, I'm posting for a friend who needs help.

We (my friend and I) already know about the different ways to get tickets. What we would specifically like to know, preferably from people with personal experience, is how you go about getting tickets from TA if you are a member. We know about the lottery and stuff like that, but we'd like to know general prices and how likely you are to get good seats if at all...we couldn't many conclusive answers through the search (when it would work, for me at least, ugh.)
