Man, that's depressing, makes me curious what the whole context of the song is.

I think it was

And it just gives off a very angsty vibe. Since the title is "Don't look back" and these are the lyrics, it just feels like she's telling herself not to look back, because there's no more hope, not because she wants to move ahead. But oh well, we'll have to wait for the whole song with full lyrics to know more!
