i've lost interest in A LOT of female solo singers. i think the only ones i remotely follow are Ayu, Namie, & Hikki (...only j-pop). it's strange, because i used to only listen to females back then. they REALLY need to step it up, because i think the males in the industry are more innovative right now, tbqh.

alan - great start, but now she's stagnant, imo.
Nakashima Mika - i still like her & all, but i think her past releases are better.
Otsuka Ai - she became boring, imho. especially after "LOVE PiECE".
Koda Kumi - i used to be such a huge fan. everything post BEST ~second session~ has been a hit or miss (more misses though. but when she's good, she's good.) but i think she's definitely sold out too...i really miss old Kuu. :\
Arashi - like Mika, i just prefer past works. i really liked them when i liked them. (i'm getting this vibe w/ TOKIO as well. post-Harvest hasn't been that great)
