Pretty much exactly what I would've said if you hadn't already.
I see a lot more crazy coming from the K-Pop fans than those of J-Pop though. I'm a fan of both J and K-Pop, and have encountered SO MUCH more hostility from K-Pop fans. J-Pop fans, like someone said, can be very elitist with their favorite artists and put down other artists, but the unwarranted hatred was almost always toward the rival artists, not fans. With K-Pop, if you say one negative thing about a K-Pop group, you're automatically a "hater". I remember all this retarded drama on last.fm on the 4minute page where people would flip their **** on anyone who said they didn't worship a new song or something like that. They'd literally worship Hyuna and call other female K-Pop group rappers (like Miryo and CL) dykes; I kid you not. It's just...disgusting. It honestly lead to me disliking 4minute, as crazy as that sounds. A similar thing happened to me with Hikki because of some really extreme fans, but Hikki's the only Japanese artist that's happened to me with. With K-Pop, I practically can't even listen to or watch SNSD because all I can think of is their craziest fans (which seems to be about 75% of them) and how freakily obsessed they are.
Some people just need to calm the **** down.
