That's not subliminal messaging so much as product placement... I mean that's like saying a guy obviously eating a bag of m&ms in a movie is subliminal messaging, but it's not really.
The Karaメール one is kind of weird, but then it doesn't seem THAT weird. Edit: Actually, I don't really think it's exactly product placement but I don't think it's subliminal messaging either. O_o
