"My Love" is the second single to be released in the U.S. and Canada from Justin Timberlake's sophomore effort FutureSex/LoveSounds. Despite the huge commercial success and relatively recent release of the album's first single "SexyBack", stations in various cities across the U.S. began spinning the cut in mid-August of 2006. In a similar fashion to "SexyBack," Timbaland contributes limited background vocals to the song. "My Love" also features a rap verse from T.I., marking the first collaboration between the two artists. Early reception of the song has been extremely positive, with many fans and critics preferring it over "SexyBack." The song received a rare 5/5 star rating from Pitchfork Media.[1] Justin performed "My Love" and "SexyBack" as a medley for the opening of the 2006 Video Music Awards.

The UK release for the single has been confirmed to be on 13th of November according to BBC Radio 1.
