Thoughts: glitter/fated

The name Glitter does not suit with this song. Personally i like Blue Bird better than Glitter. Glitter did catch my attention like Blue Bird did.

I adore both songs. I put em on my mp3 player today as soon as I got up and listened to them on the way to school. My first impression of glitter was "ok, different from what I expected!" It sounds so fun with the "woa woa woa" and I love when she says "Yes! Still.. Believe in Love!" it just makes me happy. The bridge was also really different from what I expected and the transition into the final choruses made them seem fresh.. Loved it.

But fated just does it all for me. The opening is loud and then the way it transitions into calm was cool. The verses were awesome and the calm ethereal feeling made me so emotional.. While listening to both songs on repeat I kept thinking "How does she keep doing it?! Every new song she comes out with is amazing..."

I'm really happy and definately cannot wait to see the PVs/short film

I am not impressed with this single at all the songs are so bland and Ayu's voice isn't that great. Out of the two the song I like the most is fated, but glitter totally bores me, and I don't like the PV idea. But I'll still buy the single and give it another shot, Ayu songs grow on me like weeds grow in grass.

Overall speaking, this single is definitely better than BLUE BIRD.
But I don't like the melody of glitter. It sounds like those songs from koda. However, I have to say its bridge has impressed me.
fated is really a song. I simply LOVE it.

i agree that this single is a lot better than blue bird...
i think the english in glitter is cute XD its not her native tongue, so...a for effort!
i like fated more than glitter though, just becasue of my own personal preference of ballads.

I'm really really happy still. It has now been 24 hrs since I first listened to them, and I managed to not over-play them!! Clap for me! haha.

And I must say, if Ayu MUST have these crazy summer songs, I'd prefer them to sound more like glitter from now on, and less like Blue Bird. Blue Bird had the cutest chorus, but listening to it now, and then listening to glitter, it seems so bland. :/ So yes, glitter>Blue Bird

I really don't understand why everyone loves fated so much...? It seems like it had the power to be something more, you know? The same as to how I feel about Kumi's Aisho...

Anyhow, fated definitely doesn't compare to JEWEL that's for sure. JEWEL is such a masterpiece it is scary!

Ehh..everyone seems to like this release. Both songs sucks.

I wish she'd bring me something new, I'm getting too tired of this. Actually I think I'll quit listening to Ayu permanently now. It's been four good years of being a hardcore fan, but I'm moving on. I don't even like her the slightest bit anymore. Bye AHS! O.o
