The sales from the second day of her second week are yet to be publicly announced. Once they're added on, it'll be known for sure if she's #1 or not.
Actually, the sales won't be announced, but it's expected that they're enough to take the top spot. ^___^;

yeah she totally deserved it ! I mean the last time a single of hers went to no.1 was 10 years ago . This will be amazing if she finally manages to claim back another no.1 & it's long overdue I say

^Thankies Peger! Dammit! Hikki was only 20K to getting 500k 1st week. It's okay, it still indicates that Hikki went double platinum her 1st week which is excellente! GO NAMIE! GET DAT #1 SPOT GURL! I'm so happy that two of my fave female artists topped the charts. Congrats to Hikki and Namie!

480k is an awesome first week opener for Hikki. Highest of the year so far! I think by next week she'll definitely beat Guilty and Kingdom's total sales. It may have fallen just short of UB's first week, but I think it's awesome considering the decline of record sales.

^ I wonder how long she can have the highest 1st week sales of the year? If it wasn't Oricon standard of tallying the final sales on the 6th day then Hikki would've scored 500K for sure her first. Like I said earlier, Hikki still scored the double platinum sales of HS this week. I'm interested to see how she will fair next week. *prays that she beats EXILE next week*

I hope they don't have a week higher than 480k. I'd like Hikki to keep that title of highest first week of 2008 for a little while longer I'm more worried about Aoyama Thelma beating her for the #2.

I'm still surprised at how well Shibasaki Kou is selling. she sort of flew under the radar, I've heard of her but none of her singles or past albums have really caught my attention.

EXILE's three new best albums is not a new gimmick. they did it last time too in 2005, most people will get the most extensive best out of the three. EXILE's "PERFECT BEST" 2CD+DVD is the best selling avex album of 2005, clearly above Kuu's BEST ~first things~ and Ayu's MY STORY.

EXILE ENTERTAINMET BEST or whatever it's called will most likely be the best selling album of 2008 out of all avex artists, and probably by a mile too since Kuu and Ayu haven't really performed exceptionally well in sales this year whereas exiles sales seem to be on the rise ...

^Me too. Aoyama's NINKI said that 130 people (I think) were interested in her debut album. I just hope Hikki's next week sales don't drop drastically. Regardless, I'm cheering for the both of them. Ugh, I just one of them beats EXXXXXIIIILE!
