Wow so it's true then!!! She really does like Ayu and Koda o.o.............I never would've expected Beyonce to even take notice of the Japanese music industry, although with a music career I guess you have to be well-acquainted with various types of music.

I'm pretty sure, if this interview was conducted in japan, that they played some songs to her by Ayu, Kuu + etc and asked whats she thought of them and which she liked best ...

it's not that surprising, I mean I guess it is in the fact that Japanese artists aren't well-known, but a lot of my friends who hear "my" music love it.

One of my friends is positive that Kuu would sell tons of albums here because of her "style", if you get what I mean.

Ya know, if she was asked "Who are your favorite Japanese singers?", she probably just named off the more popular people because I am sure when she was in Japan she at least saw or heard of them once. It's not like she is saying that her favorite females singers and Ayu and Koda...

should make this interview go more public, like in a mag or something. that way ayu and kuu get more U.S. recognition and more promotions for worldwide fame!

Well, they used Beyoncé for months in the opening of HEY!HEY!HEY! so I guess she has to have at least some kind of knowledge about Japanese music. Really cool she mentioned Ayu .
