what is that white liquid that Ayu was playing with in the PV of Because of You? IIRC, she and her dancers were getting flooded by the white liquid as well.

I always thought it was supposed to be milk in the PV. Never did understand the symbolism...

but I doubt it's supposed to be semen (sperm are cells that make up a part of semen)... that's just nasty lol.

It's definitely not semen, but the PV is set up for the viewer to "think" that it has something to do with sex. Only viewers who look past the surface will see that it's more than just sex...

Of course it's not REALLY sperm or semen, but paint (or can you think of something else that is thick, sticks on your hand and can still drip? Because milk is pretty much unable to do that XD). Yet, it does give you that feel of it being sperm or semen.

From what I've heard a long time ago (from something officials), it represents how many times the BAD man has taken advantage of women and that's how they can't trust men that easily anymore like the one who gave flowers was in no way like those men who threw money on them, but he was dressed exactly like them, which was why those women pushed him away to 'protect herself'. The anime represent a kind of perfect happy ending that she and a man live happily after ever, holding each other, kissing... crying in each other's arms happily. Then you see the scene of a woman crying all alone, sitting against the door and picking up the flower and realizing she pushed him away

I'm a sucker at explaining and I can't explain it as good as what I've read.. buuuut, this must give you an idea that it was not peverted but more symbolic in a disgusting way? XD

Oh God, I never looked at it that way. I'm getting sick thinking about the scene where they are washed away by it, LOL. I'm sticking with the part that they must say no to bad men and purify themselves of them, which is why at the end the pure white liquid pours over them. They're free! ^-^
