I was interested in hearing her song since I saw her featured on WikithePPN's front page last week and after listening to 'still doll' I have to say she's FANTASTIC! It reminds me of a more Victorian / delicate Rasputina, if any of you have heard of the band (if you haven't, you definitely should: it also features cellos and a lovely vocalist, though they're not an Asian group). I can't wait to hear more from her, she sounds very promising!

So there's a poster with the single? I haven't heard anything about it. Oh wait, a reviewer on CDJapan said "FIRST PRESS comes with a poster of Kanon on one side and Vampire Knight characters with a cello on the other. Also a VK sticker." Apparantely the posters B2-Sized.

well the first single was not a success... but I think Kanon's music has potential and probably will make a hit anytime soon...

I don't think #37 is all that bad, really. It's in the top 40 at least, and considering her style isn't a very typical sound the fact that she charted at all is pretty cool - though I think being linked with that anime might have helped out, haha.

Since it is her first single I think it's hard to say whether or not it sets a bad precedent for her as an artist - not that I think any of you guys are saying that, though!

Well, the style of the single isn't exactly what the general Japanese public will jump up and down to listen to, so I think that it's doing quite well. But hopefully she'll do better with future releases.
