Ayu's trademark song

What ayu's song would you like to be her trademark song? I mean, the song that would really represent her music,style and persona. It's like when you hear the song you will say: It's Ayu's music. Just like that.

Mine, after a long thinking and choosing, I chose M.

Because of the style and effects of the piano,with the electric guitars and the chorus beat. Very Ayu, isn't it?

I dunno but probably you are right...the singles for I am....I don´t even think they are the best but M, evolution, NEVER EVER are just songs you think of when you think of ayu

Of course, I'd like it to be SURREAL for personal reasons, but as it was not composed by Ayumi, I think a worthy choice would be a song that she composed, like M, as you mentioned. Plus I agree with the other reasons you listed.

Yea, because it's a happy upbeat song that is fun for everyone to sing and dance too. M and SEASONS are just as trademark, IMO, but aren't that concert-ish, so she doesn't do them every concert. Though, I do think that she should do a larger encore for each tour and include some classic ballads, like Koda.

Anyways, I'm going to have to say Boys & Girls, just because no one has mentioned it yet and I want to be different lol.

Yea, why aren't her recent songs "trademark" enough? I agree, but I just wonder why. Because she's been doing this new polished style for MANY MANY years now. It's not like the raw style is her trademark anymore. And I like recent songs like JEWEL more than oldies.

although i'm not of fan of the song, BOYS&GIRLS. that one just screams AYU.

other good trademark songs: M, A Song for XX, and Who...
they reveal everything about Ayu and her career, from start to w/e present time... it's everlasting Ayu... imo.

Well, i feel that since ayu's popularity isnt as high as before, her newer songs may not be as popular as before even though the song is perfectly nice. So with less people knowing this particular new song, it's hard for it to be trademark.

On the contrary, everybody knows SEASONS. I feel that only SEASONS can be the trademark cos not a lot of people know about M and evolution.

Ah ok, true. No one I know knows Ayu. Well, those that do know her only like M, but still, it's not enough people to judge her trademark. I think you'd have to live in Japan/Asia and talk to some people about Ayu and see what songs they know. ^^
