日テレ系「ＨＡＰＰＹ　Ｘｍａｓ　ＳＨＯＷ」
　タレントの明石家さんま（４８）が、６年ぶりに本格 的に音楽番組の司会を務める。クリスマスソングなどを 披露する日テレ系のクリスマスの音楽特番「ＨＡＰＰＹ 　Ｘｍａｓ　ＳＨＯＷ　今宵限り！！音楽の天使が集う 夜」（１２月２３日・後９時０３分）で、総勢約１８組 のアーティストが豪華競演し、歌手の山下達郎（５０）が音楽 を担当する。


山下達郎がサポート
　さんまが音楽番組の司会をするのは、９７年のフジテ レビ系「夜のヒットスタジオ」以来。日テレは４年越し でさんまを口説き落とした。“音楽担当”には「クリス マス・イブ」でおなじみの山下達郎。山下は出演しない が、クリスマスの定番ソング「ホワイト・クリスマス」 を、達郎自身が多重録音によるアカペラでカバー。さらにアレンジしたエンディング曲に「ハブ・ユアセ ルフ・メリー・リトル・クリスマス」を提供。ＣＭと番組の間に流れ るジングルの作曲、楽曲選びなどにも協力をしている。

　番組では、スタジオを町の片隅に・るライブハウスに 見立て、アーティストたちが音楽というプレゼントを持って、訪ねて・るという仕立て。出演アーティストは、浜崎・ゆみ（２５）、ケミストリー、ゴスペラーズら大物がズラリ。海外からはブリトニー・スピアーズ（２１）らが出演する。歌手が持ち歌ではな・、定番 のクリスマスソングやＪポップの名曲など１３〜１４曲 を歌う。出演者の共演も企画しており、さんま自身も歌 を披露する。
