Kazzy's schedule was super busy so he couldn't do it at first but I think EMI or Hikki or her dad begged him to do the pv. Also, it was Hikki's idea for the PV.

Actually I heard a different story. It was supposed to be Donald Cameron directing Hikari (the person who directed COLORS), but due to schedule conflict he couldn't do it in the end, so hikki had to ask Kaz to direct the pv instead... I think this is what they said when she released COLORS (that Mr. Cameron finally directed her pv).

Edit: Yeah I checked JPN wiki, and my memory is right. Donald Cameron couldn't film Hikari.. I wonder what he would do to the pv if he did direct it ?

I don't think Hikki's current look isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. The bowl cut is cute but I prefer the Wait and See cut. I don't know why folks think she can't rival Ayu, Namie, or Kuu or the other female J-poppers in the looks department. Yea, she doesn't puts herself out there to be a "looker" like most female J-poppers but Hikki is really beautiful and can look "kewl sexy" when she wants to be.

Yeah, I guess because she doesn't A. Dress up like a Super Model or B. ***** herself out, people here don't consider her fair competition for them, but that's really wrong.

Basically what they're saying is that it's the clothes and style that make those other women pretty and not their natural look. It's a shame that Utada would have to expose herself to extent that they do to be considered on their level, which she is, if not beyond it. Then again we're only talking about this forum's appearing stance on the issue or at least I am. It's more than likely not the same everywhere. We're everywhere.

^ LoL, I've never thought Utada was that good-looking to be honest. She's more of a pretty, average girl to me, clothes and fashion issues aside. In comparison to the many asians I see here, she's someone who'd probably blend in with the crowd.

Yeah I read that too before I head to the JPN wiki. Up till now I think JPN wiki is pretty reliable on older stuff. And I believe the original director should be Donald because that's what they said when COLORS was about to be released. The fans mentioned about that back then.

Oh now we talk about hikki's fashion... tbh, her fashion is quite horrible after she was married. She wasn't that bad before but then I dunno how kaz has affected her fashion taste...
