Snow/elephantman& off the island

Hello!

Winter is here...at the moment I..m in Helsinki. Arrived here Saturday, the day after I arrived, a snowstorm arrived too. I don..t think I..ve ever experienced anything that cold. It felt like my face was on fire, and while walking I couldn..t see a thing, just wind and snow everywhere. 2 days later it..s still snowing, but no wind...just beautiful clear snow, it..s beautiful. It..s 23 in the evening, and I was just out making a snowman, hehe...so so fun. After hours in the studio.He maybe looked a bit like the elephant man...maybe I scared the kids away.
I..m staying here for a week. working on a song....

Last week I was DJing in the Netherlands. First up was Amsterdam...and that wasn..t really a good surprise. I was DJing at a great venue called Paradiso. I was looking forward to that, since I did a live gig there a couple of years ago, and it was so so fun:-) But this time they were not exactly great. I arrived really late, and was so hungry...but nobody showed me where I could go and eat, so I ended up eating some bad burger that tasted like raw old rat meat....and they didn..t bother showing me the hotel, so I walked around with a heavy bag, looking for the hotel, totally wrong side of town for about 1/2 hour...hmm...I..m not really a diva..but it was so much that was not too pleasant. I really like Amsterdam though...beautiful city, fun fun fun...

Next up was Rotterdam. Did a gig at a venue called WATT. This was a totally different story...the people who booked me were so so nice...took really good care of me, got me good food, that did not taste anything like something that is close to the ..mouse family.....and the hotel was great. It's always nice when you feel like the promoters are happy that you..re coming to play..Rotterdam was just fun!!!!

Also had a meeting with Island record last week. I..ve been bit upset, cuz they never wanted to come up with a release date of ..Don..t stop'. I think it..s a great label, but I never felt they were that positive to my ideas...so we decided that we..re not gonna work together anymore. After Nick Gatfield, who was the head of Island left the label...a couple of months after I signed, things changed. I'm an artist with lots of ideas, plans...so I..m gonna do things my own way from now on.
At least there will be much more Annie records/songs coming out next year then 2008...Already very first week of 2009,I..m coming out with a song called ÁNTHONIO.. that I hope you..ll be into....it..s gonna be out on Richard X..s label...so watch out!!!
I think Island are great...it just wasn..t the place for me........no hard feelings, the show will go on......the Annie caravan will keep on moving, and the dogs..ll keep on barking:-)

Now I..m gonna watch Sopranos...watching season 2....and tomorrow I..m back in studio.And if it..s still snow there, I..ll maybe build a snow castle.....
and in the evening I..m gonna have a spa....woooooooo.....can..t wait.
