Omg I absolutely LOVED the PV and song... I cried throughout the PV...
Comments on the song: Days is really amazing. It's like the awesomeness of her winter ballads such as Together When..., momentum and No way to say, and it has that sweet and sad flavor of MY ALL and JEWEL... sorry but Days is an instant favorite for me, and it pwns GREEN, simply because Days sounds so simple and lala-ish, while GREEN is heavy and complicated. Not that I dislike GREEN, I love GREEN! My interpretation of the PV: Well, I don't think the first half was a dream... it was more like a 'few days ago' kind of thing. Let's see... In the beginning, Ayu woke up while hearing the sound of Shu-ya's motorbike, and she runs down the stairs, while bumping onto her friends. She sees Shu-ya and goes all ga-ga... At the ring scene, it was more like a Shu-ya was using Ayu to see if the ring was good... and Ayu thought he was gonna buy the ring for him, but in the end he didn't, cos he wanted the ring for someone else (or maybe he bought it, but didn't put it on Ayu), and that explained that disappointed expression on Ayu's face. In any case, she was still 'whatever' about that, and we come to the dance scene. If you ask me, I DON'T THINK that Ayu was a dancer, like she just joined the troupe because Shu-ya was in it. Kind of like if your crush plays soccer, and you join it, for the sake of him... And she was late or smth, so she sees them dance, and once again goes ga-ga over Shu-ya dancing. May I add that that close of her perspective through her eyes was just plain FANTASTIC, since it shows us that Ayu was indeed crazy in love over Shu-ya, and that him dancing was just 'so cool and hot and awesome!' to Ayu. Then we get to the 'next day' kind of scene. And you notice some changes. She wakes up at 8 01pm instead, there's snow, and her friends are gone. IMO, this just emphasizes the irony of 'yesterday' and 'today'. The same clothes and expression, to me, are like saying 'this situation appears to be same, but in reality...' It's like she's repeating the situation, and she thought the same thing would happen again - Shu-ya would offer her a ride on his motorbike. Note that Shu-ya gives that "Hey yo!" kind of look, and that's NOT something you would show your girlfriend. It's more like a sign that something bad's gonna happen. And yeah, we know the rest, when Shu-ya passes the helmet to mystery woman, and the ring was highlighted. And Ayu realizes at that moment, that on that day when they were at the ring stall, Shu-ya intended to give the ring to someone else, and not her. And okay she cried. The "eyes" were shown again, and this time, the vision is distorted and blur... kind of like she's lost, as compared to the previous time, when she was so focused on Shu-ya dancing. Irony much. Then, at the end, we just saw her friends, and Shu-ya's friend. Like, I would say the guys are Shu-ya's friends, and the girls are her friends. So in the end, all of them were there for Ayu. Maybe they all knew that Shu-ya had another girl, and they didn't want to crush her dreams... Whatever it is, it was clear that her friends, like our friends, would always be there for us. Some LOL things to take note in the PV are: MAMA GOMI!!! He was like some gay diva with the girls... and yes he was in that "Ayu's friends" group! I think this was what she meant when she blogged about Mama Gomi. It's interesting to note that the two repeated scenes of the PV are like two different days, one which is not snowing and had friends, and one that had snow and had no friends. IMO, it's not a dream, more like a 'another day' idea. Maybe that's why the song is titled Days. Whatever it is, I LOVE Days!

and i think ur interpretation is possible too...hahah esp the 'another day' idea... probably...but since it happened in one PV and the open and close eyes thing going on....it seems like a dream gosh, who knew a simple PV had such significance to it |

In which case, I think it's better not to think of the PV's scenes in chronological order. Rather, the first scene is "What Ayu hoped had happened". And the second scene is the flashback. Then the third scene repeat is "What really happened." That way, Ayu doesn't have to have dreamed of it, but instead, the scenes project what Ayu hoped had happened. I think your 8:01 interpretation of Ayu being "late" by one minute is good. Maybe then, in Ayu's ideal, she wouldn't have been "late". That's why she woke up at 8:00 during the 1st scene, because she wishes that she was on time and Shuya had offered her the helmet.
