I own all her album releases, and so all my mp3s from the CD albums are lossless, as opposed to 320kbps. However, besides the difference in quality, I don't find much difference in arrangement. It is hard to tell because I downloaded the indie singles from the internet, and it's hard to tell where they came from. Were they also just rips from the album and tagged as the single, or is there really just no difference? Unless someone has original indie singles, it is hard to tell.

^Do you mean chance? If so, I was thinking of creating a lossless file thread for her albums. There is a thread for her discography, however, a few of the download links are no longer active...

^If someone could recommend a good (free) DVD ripping software, I would totally rip the DVDs from my albums and give you guys amazing full length, higher quality PVs.

^DVD Decrypter is good.

It's a little outdated but that shouldn't be a problem with Japanese DVDs since they generally use well-known copy protection schemes that are easily circumvented.

After you rip the PVs to VOB you can use HandBrake (which is also free) to encode them to AVI or MP4. It has presets so you don't have to fiddle around with anything if you don't want to. But I'd recommend version 0.9.3 as the current build has some bugs with newer versions of Windows.

And, yeah, I'd also like to add my voice to the discography request thing. There are rips already floating around out there but they're of dubious quality and I'm sure they've been through several transcodes so I'd love to get a 1st gen encode of her albums in MP3 if it's possible.

EDIT: So, I tried using some software to rip the DVDs and...

1. They came out as two big files, split in two in the middle of a PV
2. The audio is totally off as it goes on.

I dunno what to do...
