Who was denying that? And again, what's your point? She's the cream of the crop when it comes to singers who were previously idols, but she's certainly not an old woman like you were saying in your previous post. As I said: Get a clue. I didn't realize that Namie fans these days are so defensive. Maybe it's because they're new? Back in the day, I rarely encountered people so rabid about her. This was before Queen of Hip-Pop.

"rabid"? I didn't know having common sense was being rabid. And that's great for you, but I defend anything I like so. :/ You probably don't even know the definition of rabid if you think that I'm acting rabid. Welcome to AHS though, there hardly is any logic present here.

I do think Ayu is cool in ways that Namie isn't (like writing all of her own lyrics, for one thing). But cool is overrated anyway. The worship of cool is so 80s/90s. I'd take class over cool any time.

Namie is one artist nowadays that has that really cool demeneur in the image that she portrays. That's what this poll is about, so what you're going on about right there is pointless. Wow, and Namie is also 'cool' in ways that Ayu isn't. Big deal. I like them both for what they can and can't do.

Ja, Namie's pretty classy too.

@emiko: That's great for you, but that's not what you wrote at all in your first post. "She's all old" does not = "She's been in the entertainment industry for many years". Learn how to write and/or communicate your ideas properly.
