To be honest, I expected the new single to chart higher on its first day. But whatever, top 10 is still better than nothing.

Oh, I see. I was under the impression that there was going to be a physical single released here in the US before the album

Does the US even release physical singles? I've never seen one.

^ I don't think they do that much anymore... Everything is very digital, I'd be surprised if Americans still buy albums ^^;

There's not really a full version out, just two parts that make up the full version. The first part got released a while ago, and then the second part popped up on her official facebook page.

Yes. I bought Mya's "Fallin" single for 5 bucks the other day. It was used that's why it was so cheap ...

This is a post from BoAjjang. This member ran into one of BoA's dancers and got some info.

Quote:
I ran into one of BoA's dancers from the "I Did it For Love" video, Nicole Hagan (sp?), at my dance studio today. I overheard her say "BoA" while talking with her friends (one of her friends was like, "Who?", lol), so I approached her about it afterward. I asked her if she danced for BoA, she said yeah, I asked if it was for "I Did it For Love," and she was like, "Yeah, how'd you know?" I told her I was a big fan of BoA and have been following her U.S. debut closely. I talked with her for a bit about BoA and the shoot, and here are some details she gave me:

------------------------------

- The shoot happened roughly three weeks ago. The dancers rehearsed with BoA for a week and filmed the video over the course of a day or two. BoA then headed to Japan after the video shoot.

- The video is a pure dance video and has lots of heavy dancing. It's also got a dark color scheme, and BoA was dressed in black leather. She also showed me a picture of a charcoal/silver (?) sports car that's featured in the video.

- I asked her if Misha Gabriel choreographed it. She said Nick Bass actually did the choreography, but that Nick reminds her of Misha (in appearance?).

- I asked her if BoA was nice. She said that she was, and she mentioned that BoA was very "professional" and worked as hard as the other dancers. She contrasted this with the experience that some of her friends are having while rehearsing for Britney's upcoming tour (Britney gets fed up and walks out a lot). I asked her if she thought BoA was a good dancer for a singer, and she said she was amazing and a quick learner.

- I asked about Sean Garrett, and she said that he was there. She said he was a nice guy and surprisingly quiet/shy. During the shoot, she asked him if the car was his, and he laughed it off with an "I wish!"

It's nice to hear such good comments about BoA. So far the music video sounds hot. BTW does anyone recognize the name Nick Bass?

edit: Those pictures are really good. These pictures look good in black and white. The Girls On Top one should have the font pop out a little more. It's kinda difficult to see it against the white background.
