Yeah horrifying drop. Rule/Sparkle obviously doesn't stand a chance against Arashi next week. Heck it won't even stand a chance if they were both released on the same week. Looks like the movie tie-in is doing nothing for the sales.

At this moment I dun think flumpool will be a threat for R/S. Right now the index differences is 22205. That means flumpool needs >5550 extra index than ayu per day for the next 4 days to kick ayu off the top. Hmmn... the possibility is quite low..

And people should calm down about the huge drop. It's a normal pattern for many avex artists atm...

The funny thing is that Rule appears to be a normal song. I mean usually, if a song is a movie tie-in as well, they'll say it right?

Like "Ayu's latest single Rule/Sparkle, Rule OFFICIAL theme for international release of Dragon Ball: Evolution" or something?

But I mean it's like the DBE tie-in is non-existent or something.

Now I wish some other director would have begged Ayu... if she's doing Rule for Transformers 2 her sales would be sky high.

Anyways, what bugs me the most is that they put all these remixes on here which I LOVE and then they don't promote it. They'll look back and think "Hm, why even put those efforts into making the remixes when it barely helps sales at all" and we'll be stuck with nothing more than the originals and instrumentals again. Hott. Lol.

well.. i dont' know if it has been posted yet... and since some of you were saying that these days ayu is doing really well in legal downloads... I enter iTunes japan and find it:



Rule Pv is #1 and Rule is #5 and Sparkle #6... then when I get into de page of the single the next song of this single that is more popular is GREEN acoustic folowed by Days acustic... ^^ Maybe Rule&Sparkle were in TOP on the 25th... who knows...

and then, revising the ranking in "ayu's section" (to see which song or video is more popular of are her songs and albums/singles) is curious to see that the 3 versions of R/Sparkle have been bought more times than A BEST 2, A COMPLETE.. and everything! is the TOP3!! and in her TOP SONGS, rule and sparkle are the firsts, and in videos Rule PV is also the first of all!




And it's not her best single in my opinion.. but people really like it, but prefer to download it... it's really good to know that the single is accepted ^^

If only album wasn't announced so soon sales would be much higher.

obviously if it were released against ARASHI,avex would make a huge promo to safe ayu no 1 streak..

n it's ridiculous plus annoying if ayu no 1 streak is broken by any creppy girly boyband..
