Thanks for your suggestions. I change the first two lines like this.

You may feel you are uncool

As for the other part, how about this?

You may wonder if this is an adult
And what you often imagined in your childhood

or

You may wonder, "Is this an adult?
Is this what I often imagined in my childhood?"

And do you think "when you were a child" is preferable to "in your childhood"?

Actually, these are the most difficult lines to translate, because the meaning is not so obvious even in the original Japanese lyrics. So here is my interpretation.
She wants to give some advice to a person whose life isn't going well now. And before doing this she is saying these words. -- "I want to say something to you. But it's not because you are in bad situation just now."
And I feel like changing the English word for 'nageyari'. How about this?

But I say something to you, not because so
I don't want you to be in resigned mood
