Btw, Mr. Goto, it just occurred to me (actually it occurred to me a while ago I just kept forgetting to mention it
 ), would that concert tracklist (the one with SI*NA and w/e) really be conclusive as to who has the rights to her songs? They performed Happy Material and Bouken Deshou Deshou and all these songs that H!P definitely doesn't have rights to... So Glass no Pumps could just be another one of those.

^ ohhh that is true. So maybe she will perform some of her oldies at upcoming concerts. I'd love to see her re-sing some of her old songs with new arrangements and vocals.
NOOOOOOOOO if the album turns out to be digital avex can suck my ****   and that is assuming we even are getting an album after this next digital single  Debuting her with an mini album would be a really smart move I think cause more people would be willing to buy an album compared to a single. It would be the perfect way to introduce Gocchin to Japan again.

^ I agree.
 As much as I want a physical single, I think that can wait. 4 Digital singles are enough to give people a taste of Maki, so they should release a mini-album as her first phystical release, promote it well, and start the era of avex!Gocchin. As for her performing old songs... as much as I want that, I guess technically she can't release those performances on DVD, can she? Kind of like how she performed Hips Don't Lie at her HtuS 07 tour but they weren't allowed to publish it? Ahh, H!P, just sell avex the rights to her songs! T_T

^ I'm still not sure about the DVD part. I know of other artists who switched record labels/companies and when they release a new DVD they include their old songs on it but I dunno about Maki's situation. Maki might want to stay clear from her old "idol" image though and choose not to sing the songs. I'm sure she will eventually sing at least one song from her H!P days but for her first tour and whatnot I can easily see her choosing not to sing any of them.
Sooooo it's been one year (June 1st is when the news broke) since Maki joined avex. It seems like just yesterday when I was anticipating her a-nation performance
