This might really be a concern for Ayumi Hamasaki - Michael Jackson's really a superstar which is alone, so what will really happen for Ayumi Hamasaki? I mean, she's still single except for dancers? How will she survive in her physical life and the music business in Japan after the news that Michael Jackson has died?

Yes it is. The best selling album of all time. No one has topped it. I don't think it will be anytime soon. People don't buy albums like that anymore.
NO ONE WILL EVER TOP HIM.

He sold like what, 50 million copies!?

Are you kidding me? Everyone will be able to move on, but people WILL be mourning. Ayu is not the only artist in Japan, there are thousands who have been influenced by him.. that's just a really narrow view of things.. oi.

Are you saying that his album might be topped soon? I personally don't think so.... With his death I think people are going to buy his albums. His sales might sky rocket with it...... ):

@AyuTan: I think she was actually saying it will NEVER be topped.

I can't believe this. I'm shocked. Like beyond shocked. I was just listening to Michael Jackson today, then i came here and found out he passed away .

I just can't believe it. It's a great loss for the music industry (even if he wasn't active anymore).

Pretty much his whole life was so sad =(.

R.I.P. Michael

I have to admit that I didn't like him at all
but still it's so weird that he's dead now...

suddenly he's just gone!

now I'm starting to get paranoid and crazy but...
what if he just wants to be alone without the paparazzis now and they said he's dead...

No, I said that no one will be topping it anytime soon. Maybe, possibly in the future but with the way album sales are now it's not going to happen. Even MJ only sold 10 million of Invincible in this industry.

Im still in shock on how he has died even though I heard about an hour ago. Horrid news. Even though he did have some controversy in his time he was an amazing person and an amazing artist.

Our news was reporting he was rushed to hospital and there are death notices in our online paper already. It will be a while before we know the full story.

Regardless of his controversies, he was a very good artist and dancer. He achieved so much in 50 years and will be missed.

This does not make sense. Are you trying to say that now he's died that Ayu's career is over or something? One person dying will not destroy the music industry and her career, people will continue to make music as they always have done.

I was also sad to hear about Farrah Fawcett's death today as well. She's from the original Charlie's Angels in the 70s and battled cancer for several years.
