Yeah, they won TRF audition so they could go to Tokyo.

Anyways, there are certainly some dancers in the business who have contracts to one specific singer, but for most of Ayu's dancers I dont think they have exclusiveness to Ayu right now..

However, I haven't seen them recently with anyone else but Ayu...

wow.. so dancers are free to dance for whoever they want. but i wonder where on earth they have the time to do so since ayu is touring for more than half a year, since 2008.

i think they are considered as 'full time ' for ayu and 'part time' for other artists

I'm sure Ayumi's old dancer Naoto was in Maki's video for SOME BOYS! TOUCH. I think he had just "left" Ayumi when he appeared in Maki's video. So yeah, it's normal lol.

Well, the dancers belong to their own agencies that can be independent of record companies, much like management. (Like how Ayu is managed by Avex but Namie is managed by Vision Factory, although she's on the avex label. This lets them work for multiple artists and multiple labels.

Even thought they are independent of Ayu and avex, it's Ayu and her concerts/PVs that really made them famous, and probably what they are the most well-known for.
