Problems making new threads

Why is it that usualy when I try to make a new thread it goes to "page cannot be displayed?" It happens almost every single time, sometimes it actually creates the thread and sometimes not. Just now I tried to created a thread in enquires and it did that, the thread is not showing up but its telling me that I cannot post it again as it is a duplicate thread. What's going on???

Edit: But this thread worked perfectly. 0_o

Maybe the server hates me! And the really interesting part is that this thread posted perfectly and then I tried reposting the other thread and it posted perfectly too!!! Sounds like a conspiracy to me if I've ever heard one...

I get the same problem, that's why I usually type up what I want on the tread in word processor in case it gives me "page cannot be displayed message," but once it says "cannot post double post," or whatever...I know I've been screwed over =(

oh yes that happens to me... and.. so the page dose not load so I click the post thread again and it tells me about the duplicate... so what i do is press the back button and post it again and I change the title of my thread and it works!

also... anyone gets when u click a link to a post... it tells u to place your passwrod again? like if there is a thread and there is a link for a certain post of the thread and u click it and that happens to me... my cokies and all is activated... this is new!

We are aware of this problem. It's a server issue and there is not much that can be done about it. When it happens please try what MikAYuko does:

I have a problem like this. I see that the page does not look like it's loading, and then i press it again, and it says theres a duplicate, then when i go to check to see where the thread is, it's not anywhere.

yeah, it happens almost to every thread I made.. and sometimes i have two of the same threads when I change their titles. If its a server problem, not much can be done..

It happens to me 50% of the times I try making new threads. Either do what MikaYuko does, or copy what you wrote before posting and try again.

why can I only make threads in the download section??

I cant post a request thread.. I cant post a thread in the Ayumi Chat-room.. they just.. wont make..
but I can make a thread in the download section no problem... Is there something wrong? or am I having some restriction put on me that I didn't know about??

Edit:.. and I can make one here too.. but the rest of the time.. Boom.. it's crashed on me and I will try doing the thread 4+ times.. then give up.. because.. It's getting that much on my nerves!

What does it say after a thread fails to post? That info could help an admin figure out what the problem is.

^ oook, that's a different problem than the one that is addressed at the top of this merged thread (about threads/posts not working the first time).

I've never had your problem, Sweer, but it's worth looking into since it's not the "page cannot be displayed" issue. I'm not a tech here, so I hope the others who see this have a more detailed answer.
