I just listened to Mamoritai on the BASIC's LIVE and I think it was lovely!! I love BoA's short hair, too.

And I thought BUMP BUMP! was reaaaaally mediocre, but after giving it a few more tries, it started growing on me and it's actually pretty catchy after a while... anyone else thinks the same?

^SAME HERE!!! IDK why people are complaining so much. I'm sure that within time she'll get all her popularity back, especially with her new single comming out. I think are Ballads a lot more popular than upbeat songs in Japan.

^ yep, Japanese love ballads like Ayu's Moments and JEWEL SONG by BoA. Also a lot of pop-ballads do well (Mr Children and such). I don't get why people complain about BoA atm, her English album was actually pretty catchy (I like Obsessed sooo much!) and BUMP BUMP! is not so bad once you give it a second or third chance. BoA has never disappointed me really

It comes out five days after my birthday!! I can just ask my parents to get it for me, so I won't have to saveup to get it right away. It's going to be an amazing album, I just know it.

^Not necessarily. Who's to say the album won't be #1 if there are albums that can sell 30-50k and rank #1 why can't BoA? And album sales are usually greater than single sales. Also, Hikki is third.

^Her last best album only only reached 29k daily. It only reached #2 weekly. Also, she's producing this album herself with incredibly good taste, such as chopping off her hair (which all the fans totally loved). I'm not saying that she won't get #1. We have yet to see how Mamoritai will do. It is a great song and might be a hit still despite the $3-budget PV and covers
