I don't think that the cats are the cause of the accident, even I don't either think that they got hit by the motorcycle. I think it is more symbolic, remember that cats (especially black cats) are usually related to these kind of things, like death and bad luck accidents.

I really like this about these PV's in this single. They're turning out to be unique, it's a nice switch up from the PV's we got in the last single which were just like live performances.

like Hydeki said,cats usually related to death or bad luck,especially black cat,so, maybe Ayu just wanna it more symbolic to what will happen between her and her lover.that their relationship didn't seems have a happy ending.so, black cats are meaningfull than a car crush XD

Thanks for sharing the news clip. BALLAD pv looks really interesting and I'm looking forward to it. The animated cats look very halloween o_O. I'm very happy ayu is involved in the pv making. These 2 pvs are great different than her other pvs and its great to have such good change. It feels like these 2 pvs had more time to plan and prepare them than her recent ones like s/s, next level, curtain call, etc.

BALLAD's turning out to be a very interesting PV. Though, from the CM, it looked like her hair was brown, but in the making of, her hair was definitely brown. Hmm.

The PV looks even more interesting now. At least it's not exactly like fated. I mean, she was actually on the motorcycle this time around. And Shu-ya doesn't seem to die, he's just in a coma...I think. Anyhow, those shots of Ayu in the "dream" or "fantasy" look beautiful!
