Wow...Not that I'm trying to hate on Hikki or anything, but I just don't find her to be all that influential of an artist. Especially after 2006...After that year all three of the big J-pop divas (Ayu, Mika & Hikki) got kinda meh in musical releases. I guess you could say that Hikki has inspired some J-R&B artists such as JASMINE & Hiromi but, the latter and many of her peers in that genre haven't been very successful in terms of sales.

If it were up to me, I'd have shocked everyone and suggested m-flo for taking rap from the underground and making it mainstream and for paving the way for musical COLLABORATIONS in Japan. Of course like Hikki, they've been AWFULLY quiet since 2007 so...
